As a Facilitator, Consultant, and Sales Enablement Professional, I’ve worked with companies across a variety of different industries and market sectors helping companies increase sales revenue, gain market share, and achieve greater profitability. I do this through training and developing sales, service and support, and leadership teams in the knowledge, skills, and habits needed to create greater success.
I have built a reputation for designing, developing, and delivering award-winning training programs that produce measurable results. My sales training programs have helped companies be more effective and efficient at winning new customers, selling more to existing customers, and selling more on value rather than on price. My leadership development programs have increased leadership effectiveness, improved employee engagement, and advanced visions, missions, and strategies.
I base my success on both real-world experiences and formal education. I have a background in both sales and management, so I personally understand the challenges facing sales, service, and leadership teams. This helps me create deep, rich, and relevant experiences in the classroom that learners can directly relate to.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Applied Learning & Instruction from the University of Central Florida, where I studied the science of learning, motivation, and performance. My education gave me a deep understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles. What this means is that I’m able to ensure that training programs are implemented successfully to achieve desired outcomes.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
My training and development philosophy is rooted in adult learning and experiential learning principles. These principles are used to shape my training programs. I believe that learners must take an active role in the learning process. During a classroom workshop or live training event, my role is to orchestrate the learning experience and guide participants along the learning journey. I do this by anchoring learning in reality, drawing out best practices, providing coaching and support, and ensuring that learning outcomes are being achieved.
I have an engaging, fun, and highly interactive facilitation style that makes learning enjoyable and memorable. I like using novelty in my workshops that keep people on their feet. I strongly believe in discovery learning so I incorporate a variety of training methods in my workshops and seminars including case studies, role plays, scenario exercises, group activities, and action planning.
I believe in the value of learning; however I place the greatest emphasis on application. My ability to ensure skill transfer and generate long-term behavioral change has always been one of my strongest assets. I make sure that the proper coaching and reinforcement is in place to drive the adoption of new behaviors and achieve long-term sustainable change.
